Seller note:

The Amel Maramu 46 a true classic ready to cross oceans short or singlehanded. Jazz recently underwent a complete refit from bottom to masthead; stem to stern in preparation for a circumnavigation. No expense was spared and all work was completed by one of the East Coast?s top boat yards under the direction of her very experienced owner. The attention to detail and quality of the components has to be seen to be appreciated.
All equipment and systems were either new at time of refit or if original have been refitted and are in like new condition. New Yanmar engine, new North sails, refaired bottom, epoxy barrier coat and bottom paint. Awlgripped topsides and decks, resprayed nonskid, spars removed disassembled refitted and painted, new stanchions & lifelines, bow and stern rails, new standing rigging, new running rigging, new hatches and ports, new wiring, top of the line electronics package. The interior has been updated with all-LED lighting and decorator switches, new interior upholstery, new overheads, new refrigeration and the traditional mahogany interior is in excellent condition. We could go on and on and on!
The owner?s plans have changed and this fine vessel is being offered at a fraction of her refit cost.
Please see the full specifications for a complete list of completed work and an inventory of equipment but rest assured that this boat is ready to go.

With the press of a button the panel drops down for easy access to the back of the instruments and associated wiring. Again, all wiring has been carefully and neatly run and labeled. There is plenty of room for additional instruments if desired at the navigation station. Finally, adjacent to the companionway is the unique Maramu mechanical fresh water remaining indicator. Optional features: As described Jazz underwent a complete refit. No expense was spared and getting the project completed "right" superseded schedule and financial considerations. The refit was started in 2007 and was completed in 2013. Upon completion sea trails and short sails were undertaken in anticipation of a circumnavigation. Unfortunately other commitments by the owner have postponed the planned trip resulting in the offering of this vessel for sale. When referred to as new, miscellaneous components were new at the time of refit which at this time may be several years ago. We believe that this Yacht as offered in an unbelievable value and as equipped and designed ready for immediate departure for long distance voyaging. The knowledgeable owner as well as the personnel who performed the work are available to answer any questions you may have. A post refit survey as well as yard records are available for inspection by serious buyers. The boat is located in South Amboy, New Jersey, USA. Conveniently located a half hour from Newark International Airport and a couple of miles from the South Amboy New Jersey Transit Train Station. It would be our pleasure to arrange pickup and drop off at either location.
